Hakikat Pernikahan

1. Jika hakikat pernikahan adalah kerana SEKS, maka pasangan akan selalu bertengkar jika persetubuhan di kamar tidur tidak memuaskan.

2. Jika hakikat pernikahan adalah kerana HARTA, maka pasangan bakal bubar jika jatuh miskin.

3. Jika hakikat pernikahan adalah kerana KECANTIKAN, pasangan bakal berubah hati jika kecantikan mula pudar.

4. Jika hakikat pernikahan adalah kerana ZURIAT, maka pasangan akan cari alasan untuk pergi,jika pasangan tidak dapat memberi anak.

5. Jika hakikat pernikahan adalah kerana KEPERIBADIAN, pasangan akan mula membenci jika orang berubah tingkah lakunya.

6. Jika hakikat pernikahan adalah CINTA kerana ALLAH DAN IBADAH kepada ALLAH, sesungguhnya ALLAH itu KEKAL dan MAHA PEMBERI HIDUP kepada makhlukNYA. Dan ALLAH mencintai hambaNYA melebihi seorang ibu mencintai bayinya . Maka tak ada alasan apa pun di dunia yang dapat meretakkan rumah tangga jika cintakan seseorang itu adalah kerana Allah...Insyallah...

Assalamualaikum peeps =)

seems i am a bit late to post about new year.it's not like i like to keep you guys waiting, (shhessh poyo) but all the hassles and dazzles this country offered me sometimes, is too hot to handle. however,things are now under control...

my last update is about...hmmm...wait a minute..about me repeating the spot test...ya Rabbii...that old?? :O

okay2..i passed that test.Alhamdulillah..then came biophysics, biostatistics, and all those others 'daily' test, and also just now, second slide test for Histology..and i passed.although not with warna2 terbang, but that is enough for me.next up is finals for BB (biophysics and biostatistics)

i went to spain (Barcelona - video1, Madrid - video, Cordoba - video, Granada - video Alicante - video) this christmas break.and the feelings just magnificent. bottomline..sunatullah is unavoidable.you want to be a part or of it?or you just want to watch from the sidelines?it's your choice...

and for new year..well i was browsing my mukabuku when i bumped up with one of those (trending) 9gag post:

the fog thickens.visibility is poor.i need to walk back home.it has been a long day.a walk could ease up,and give my mind a time to think.
i am sure that the temperature around 1-2 degrees,but i don't feel like it.maybe that today's test had turned on the heat.and made me invulnerable.
experience is unmistakably the best teacher, but it is also a painful one.
i walked past the street lamps.the people.the city.across the river.thinking.
and i pray to the One.not to turn my backs to him.

i post this on my FB account the day i got my A-level results.at that time,i was at the happier side,and all praise to Allah for giving the success.and when He tested me with some difficulties, i become weak.i start to blaming myself.thought i made the wrong decision...and when i remembered about this verse,i started to feel ashamed of myself.i shared this verse,but not living up to it...astaghfirullah...(this paragraph is to depict how embarrased of myself about two last post...penuh emosi..haishh.tak macho betul en. amirul fauzi ni)

Hostel Palachova: terpaksa cabut dari sini..hehe.

it is day 23rd of my medical study.1st year.alhamdulillah things have started to go well.we got our new home.the rent is a bit higher than the university hostel,but it is for the good of us.i think..hehehe.and our house,located at the Manesova street,is actually like very near to the town center.and we have 3 main bus stops that can take us anywhere.

FOOD: well, rice is easily accessible.we can get it any Tesco market around.tomato,grape,apple is awesomely cheap here..hehe (..tp kalau hari2 makan epal jadi getah keping la aku..) the protein source,halal chicken and beef are scarce resources.we need to go like to the edge of a town to buy it.those halal chicken are specially imported from France.the Hradec Kralove Muslim Community also sells halal chicken and beef.so if you really want some protein,there is always a place to get them ;-) oohhh...and Czech people also loves bread.they have the kind that can cause serious injury when you throw it to people...haha

STUDY: ok.the fact that 'jsem student mediciniy v hradci kralove' (i am a medical student in hradec kralove) really cause me to have mixture of feelings:proud+happy+scared+stressed.we have like 5-6 tests a week.something that i havent faced before in any period of my study in Malaysia.sometimes i had to stayup all night,to prepare for that 5 questions-test.and the lecturers here teaches like a bullet train.we didn't catch it,then it means hard time understanding it. but that is how medic student should be:always working hard.i left the comfort of my home,and i shouldn't expect something better here..

WEATHER: sejuk betul.at 1st,when we arrived,it wasn't really that cold.people are still going out wearing shirts.sun shines brightly...but then,it rained for two days,and the temperature plummeted, and it stayed there.to have double digits on daytime is heaven now.and during the nights,we have negative temperature.when you woke up on the morning you would see that icy droplets form on grass fields.and it is not yet winter..huhu

THE PLACE: it was voted 'best city to live in Czech Republic',leaving the likes of olomouc and prague behind.the air here is unpolluted like in KL.people loves to walk to go to places here,and the car would stop,voluntarily, if people crosses the road,as long as they cross on the zebra crossing.to use bicycles here,is considered 'orang kaya' (mana taknye,satu basikal buruk pun nak dekat rm500),while majority of them,uses bus,daily. that is why the public transport system here is very efficient.you can easily search from the internet the arrival of the buses at your desired stops,so you can plan your trip without worrying about any distinctive,KTM-like delays :) petrol is quite expensive here,so normally cars would only be used for urgent reasons

it is no use complaining.it's better to adapt.it is greater to achieve..insyaAllah

tomorrow i have to get up as early as as 5 am,to queue up for a number at the foreign police here for the insurance period ,near Manesova street.and eventhough if i got the number, my turn to be served will be at around 2pm to 3pm.so now i am going to miss the next class,just because i am queuing up for something u dont have promise that it could be done as quickly as possible.and,it's like try and error

we surveyed around,to find new house for us.and there is another set back,if we found it.so the new address,we have to go back to the foreign polic,and to repeat it all over again.the wake up early,ye2

why that title:because my flight time was 2350
what happened:it got delay,at first for an hour,and when we got on board,it got delayed for another half an hour, just because the pilot cannot adjust the cockpit seat.and the technicians have to get inside to fix it

tak sampai czech lagi.we only arrived in frankfurt, germany,but the funny thing is,we just missed Hradec en route to Frankfurt.if we got parachutes, then i might just jumped over there.

Frankfurt International Airport is really BIG!! 1st we have to get into a skytrain to get to the main terminal, and then have to walk really far to the departure gate, only to realize that the e-ticket is not valid for us to pass through.we then have to go get our boarding pass from the Lufthansa check-in.the plane we will be boarding is located at gate A40,and trust me, to get there, with 15kg backpack on ur back,with another laptop bag,is hell.

arrived in Prague around 1pm local time (7pm Malaysian time), and it seems like there is not so much difference between here and back home.we ride a van with a trailer,cross country.there are maize crops,farms,mainly agrarian. seems like Czech is still fresh from the Soviet Union's communism setback.and the scenery is really similar like in Pendang,Tanjung Karang,but only in here is maize,while back in Malaysia is paddy

since my 7 years of studying away from family(1st in KUSESS,then in KTT),trust me, i have gone from one s#^t hole to another. i thought i've seen worst,but this one,hmmmm. my morale now is dropping tremendously.the hostel is small,unfurnished.my apartment have 2 other international students.one from jordan and another from india.we dont have any problems with that indian guy,but sure had alot of problems with that jordan student.he doesn't want to share the apartment with us,tried to intimidate us,by messing up the apartment with garbage,foods,and waste.imagine what would you feel when you open up the door of your apartment and see those things..being far away from home,the feeling is unbearable.totally a s&%t hole. we considering finding a new apartment or other rooms for rent.now,KTT apartment really feels good now.

it's day one,not even started classes yet,but i felt like going home.seriously.

1) too busy raya - well could be my last time here,b4 flying off
2)too busy with pre-departure stuff..i couldn't really say that this thing preoccupied me for the last few weeks,but,hmm...how should i say this..i like to do things last minutes.the last one to send the agreement forms to MARA.even nina(lives in perak) and belle(she's in Johor) could complete it earlier.hehe
3)has other 'fun' things to do lately..ehehe
4)short-term memory loss - at times, i have an imminent urge to write,as ideas rush in, but then, in front of the PC, i forgot what i want to write..sheesh.tanda2 penuaan

ok.just a quick recap.

i stopped working nearing the end of the fasting month.the experience is great.and the people i worked with were magnificent.bobo,fahmy,jaz,eggie,adie,ikha,kak atie,kak ain,kak az,and TL - kak linda (mak tiri),til' we meet again ;)

raya was not as good as before, now with my beloved opah no longer here.Al Fatihah

my results turn out better than expected.for me,passing the cut off point is what i dream.to get better,is unimaginable.thank you Allah.some of friends did not make it,do give the strength o' Allah

well,supposed to be i should be flying off this 25th,but we don't have the visa clearence. (we - ktt students.9 of them) the flight date TBA later

Perkara-perkara yang Membatalkan Puasa
1) Makan dan minum dengan sengaja. Jika terlupa atau tersalah atau dipaksa, tidak batal puasanya.
2) Muntah dengan sengaja, seperti menjolok jarinya ke tekak untuk mengeluarkan sesuatu. Jika termuntah, tidak batal puasanya.
3) Keluar haid atau nifas atau melahirkan anak, walaupun sebentar sebelum terbenam matahari.
4) Onani (mengeluarkan mani dengan sengaja) sama ada dengan tangannya, atau isterinya, atau orang lain, atau memeluk isterinya dengan syahwat. Jika keluar mani hanya kerana terpandang atau terfikir sesuatu yang mengghairahkan, maka hukumnya sama dengan mimpi basah di siang hari, i.e. tidak batal puasanya dan tidak wajib qadak. Begitu juga dengan keluar air mazi, tidak batal puasanya.
5) Memasukkan sesuatu ke dalam perut melalui rongga yang terbuka. Tidak batal memasukkan sesuatu ke dalam perut melalui rongga yg tertutup seperti mata (memakai celak atau menitik ubat pada mata) dan sebagainya. Tidak batal juga memasukkan sesuatu melalui rongga terbuka jika tidak sampai ke dalam perut, seperti mengorek hidung atau mengorek telinga atau menitik ubat telinga.
6) Berniat untuk berbuka puasa, walaupun tidak makan apa-apa.
7) Makan, minum atau berjimak kerana menyangka bahawa telah terbenam matahari (masuk waktu Maghrib), tetapi sebenarnya belum. Atau belum terbit matahari (masuk waktu Subuh), tetapi sebenarnya sudah. Ini adalah pandangan jumhur.
8) Berjimak dengan sengaja.
9) Murtad.
10) Gila, walaupun sebentar.
11) Makan atau minum ketika azan subuh dilaungkan. Ramai menyangka masih boleh makan dan minum ketika azan dilaungkan sehinggalah tamat azan. Ini adalah pandangan yang salah, kerana muazzin tidak disyariatkan untuk azan sehinggalah terbit fajar. Sesiapa yang meneruskan makan atau minum selepas muazzin mula melaungkan azan, maka batal puasanya dan wajib qadak.

Perkara-perkara yang TIDAK Membatalkan Puasa
1) Mandi atau membasahkan kepala untuk menyegarkan badan atau menghilangkan kepanasan dan dahaga. Jika tertelan air secara tidak sengaja, tidak batal puasanya.
2) Memakai celak, walaupun celak tersebut memasuki matanya, kerana mata bukan rongga terbuka yg menyampaikan bahan tersebut ke dalam perut.
3) Berkucupan sesama suami isteri, jika masih boleh mengawal diri daripada melakukan jimak.
4) Semua jenis suntikan, sama ada IV atau IM, kecuali Parenteral Nutrition (Fluid therapy)
5) Berbekam.
6) Berkumur-kumur dan memasukkan air melalui hidung ketika berwudhuk. Tetapi makruh jika dilakukan secara berlebih-lebihan.
7) Merasa makanan ketika memasak atau ketika ingin membeli makanan tersebut, selagi mana makanan tersebut tidak sampai ke halkum.
8) Menghidu bau-bauan.
9) Makan, minum atau berjimak pada malam hari sehinggalah terbit fajar (masuk waktu Subuh). Jika di dalam mulutnya terdapat makanan ketika azan subuh mula dilaungkan, wajib baginya mengeluarkan kembali makanan tersebut. Jika sengaja menelannya, maka batal puasanya. Begitu juga dengan jimak. Wajib berhenti ketika azan subuh mula dilaungkan. Jika dia menyambungnya, batal puasanya.
10) Bangun pagi dalam keadaan berjunub (hadas besar).
11) Menelan air liur yg bersih dan tidak bercapur dengan bahan lain, dengan syarat air liur tersebut masih berada di dalam kawasan tubuh badannya. Jika dikumpul di dalam bekas lalu diminumnya, batal puasanya.
12) Menggosok gigi. Harus melakukannya pada setiap waktu ketika berpuasa. Mengenai pendapat yang memakruhkan menggosok gigi selepas gelincir matahari, hadis tersebut sangatlah lemah (dhaif jiddan).
13) Tablet nitroglycerin dan yang seumpama dengannya yang diletakkan di bawah lidah (sublingual) . Biasanya digunakan untuk merawat sakit jantung.
14) Semua bentuk rawatan yang melibatkan kemasukan benda atau ubat ke dalam faraj seperti vaginal suppository, pencucian (doush), vaginoscope atau tangan doktor yang memeriksa pesakit (digital examination) .
15) Semua bentuk tiub atau bahan yang dimasukkan ke dalam badan melalui saluran kencing seperti urethroscope, barium, pencuci urethra.
16) Tampal gigi atau cuci gigi selagi mana tidak masuk ke dalam halkum (ditelan).
17) Pendermaan darah atau menerima darah.
18) Bantuan oksigen atau gas pelali (anesthetic gases).
19) Semua jenis krim atau minyak yang disapu pada kulit walaupun dibekalkan dengan bahan kimia yang terserap ke dalam kulit.
20) Ambil darah untuk ujian makmal.
21) Semua jenis salur yang dimasukan ke dalam salur darah untuk tujuan x-ray pada jantung atau mana-mana pada anggota badan (catheterization)
22) Laparoscope yang dimasukan ke dalam abdomen untuk tujuan pembedahan.
23) Semua jenis ubat kumur, seperti mouth-rinsing gargle, penyembur mulut selagi mana tidak masuk ke dalam halkum.
24) Uteroscope atau IUCD (pencegah hamil) yang dimasukan ke dalam rahim.
25) Sampel organ yang diambil dari badan seperti hati atau dari mana-mana anggota badan (biopsy).
26) Ubat asthma (inhaler).
27) Semua jenis ubat yang dimasukan melalui anus (dubur).
28) Pembedahan yang menggunakan pelali seluruh badan (general anesthesia) yang dijalankan pada siang hari setelah pesakit mula berpuasa sejak malam sebelum pembedahan.
29) Suntikan untuk merawat sakit buah pinggang melalui artificial kidney (dialysis) samada peritoneal atau hemodialysis
30) Memasukkan gastroscope ke dalam perut dengan syarat tiada sebarang cecair atau apa-apa bahan rawatan disalurkan.

the bus driver...an interesting story of how worse our public transportation system is

it was thursday, 23rd of june 2011. i was really busy, completing and preparing required documents needed to continue my study overseas. i am quite incapacitated, as i didn't have a clear mind of what i need to do. all of the updates regarding czech-bound students got hastened up during my 4 day trip to bandung,w/o internet access. thanks to my friends, they gave me step by step instructions of what to do.

but,i caught a terrible flu. but the task must be done

i braced myself. i went to the oath commissioner office,to get his signature, therefore.received the following comment:

'wahh...awak bawak masuk penyakit dalam ofis saya ehh...'

moral: please wear mask when u have flu, before u going out to public.sheesh

oh, man. i feel like i'm a sort of plague. none of that mattered. i got the signature, and goimg off to PJ to send the documents to BestEd, the agency which handles the pre-departure procedure

i took PUTRA-LRT (now RAPID KL- Kelana Jaya Line), stop at the KLCC, and took a bus home.and the real story begins here. (sorry for the irrelevant story above..hehe)

the bus i was taking is a Metrobus, no. 79, registration plate BJE 8934, going along the Pandan Mewah - Kotaraya route. i understand of how these drivers may act at some occasions, compared to their rapidKL compatriot. i have used this mode of transportation for quite some time, but what happened that day, is very2 unacceptable

1> a 50 year old woman, Chinese wants to get off the bus, upon reaching Sri Nilam flats. she tried to press the bell,to stop the bus. but the button was broken, so she walked to the driver,and asked him to stop the bus, politely. suddenly:

driver: (blurted out in anger)....apasal lu tak tekan loceng hah!!!!
woman: loceng rosak maa....
driver: apasal lu tak tekan loceng lain!! talak pakai otak kaa???

he eventually stopped the bus, but threw a lot of bad comments on that poor old woman which i cannot specify

2> not too long after that, the stop bell rang, but it rang a quite number of times. and it infuriated the bus driver. he stopped the bus, and when the Chinese girl got out, the driver cursed and threatened that girl. but then the bus conductor said to the driver

'dia budak OKU'

that didn't stopped him. he even let out these awful words:

'meh sini.aku nak tutuh b***t kau!!'

very immature.imagine if tourists see this

then he continued ranting about his personal problem. he was complaining, whining about his miserable life. and the conductor became the 'kayu api'. really done a good job there. here is some of the driver rantings:

'aku pun nak cari makan gak!!'
'untungla...bayar tiket rm1 tapi boleh maki hamun driver!!'

at home.at work.alone.i always do 'that'. a sickening fact,when there is no one around,reminding me.but it is my fault anyways.i must learn to stand alone.
there is a lot of external factors that increases the tendency to do 'that'
and i know 'that',is wrong
but i keep on doing 'that'...although realizing the fact that someONE is not liking me.doing 'that'
that particular someONE always reminded,'that' will make me go away further...and HE loves me more than anything
but i keep on doing 'that',if i must add,with bit of satisfaction
soon,it come to me.i realized.'that' is wrong.

i repented.begged for forgiveness.done everything.promising to not do 'that' again,hoping it will all go back to square one.

later on,i do 'that'.again.

and this same process keep repeating itself.over and over again
they have a term for this kind of people.it starts with an 'm',and ends with a 'q'
is there still room for me?for forgiveness?

luckily,HE is all forgiving.all merciful.Alhamdulillah

Pernah dgr nama Salman al-Farisi?? salah seorang sahabat Rasulullah.. mengembara dari satu tempat ke satu tempat yang lain utk mencari agama yg benar, agama Islam.. sebagaimana kisah beliau dlm mencari kebenaran dlm agama, kesungguhan dan ketabahan beliau, sehinggalah menemukan agama Islam sbg agama benar..begitu jugalah hebatnya kisah cinta Salman al-Farisi..

Inilah kisah cinta Salman al-Farisi....

Kisahnya begini, di saat dia merasakan sudah layak baginya untuk menyempurnakan separuh daripada agama. Dia sudah siap untuk melamar seorang gadis solehah dari kaum Ansar, yang selalu meniti di bibir para pemuda di Kota Madinah. Memperolehi cinta wanita solehah itu ibarat membelai cinta para bidadari di Syurga. Wanita solehah itu telah menambat hatinya untuk menuntun karya-karya indah bak lakaran pelangi... penuh warna dan cinta.

Beliau menjemput sahabat karibnya, Abu Darda’ sebagai teman bicaranya ketika bertemu keluarga wanita solehah itu.

“Subhanallah... alhamdulillah” terpancut kata-kata dari mulut Abu Darda’, tanda ta’ajub dan syukur di atas niat suci temannya itu. Dia begitu teruja kerana dapat membantu temannya dalam hal baik sebegini.

Maka menujulah mereka ke rumah wanita solehah yang menjadi buah mulut para pemuda gagah perkasa di Kota Madinah.

“Saya adalah Abu Darda’ dan ini adalah saudara saya Salman al-Farisi. Allah Taala telah memuliakannya dengan Islam, dan dia juga telah memuliakan Islam dengan amal dan jihadnya. Dia memiliki kedudukan yang utama di sisi Rasulullah s.a.w, hingga Rasulullah menyebut beliau sebagai sebahagian daripada ahli bait-nya. Saya datang untuk mewakili saudara saya ini melamar puteri kalian untuk dipersuntingnya” berkata Abu Darda’ kepada keluarga wanita tersebut. Susunan bahasanya cukup berlapik dan indah.

“Menerima kalian berdua sebagai tetamu, sahabat Rasulullah yang mulia sudah menjadi penghormatan terbesar buat kami. Dan adalah kehormatan lebih besar bagi keluarga kami bermenantukan seorang sahabat Rasulullah s.a.w yang utama. Akan tetapi hak untuk memberi kata putus tetap sepenuhnya berada di tangan anakanda puteri saya. Saya serahkan kepada puteri kami untuk memperhitungkannya” wali wanita solehah memberi isyarat ke arah hijab, di belakangnya sang puteri menanti dengan segala debar hati.

“silakan tuan...” balas Abu Darda’.

Selepas beberapa minit berlalu, datanglah walinya memberi kata pemutus daripada sang puteri kesayangannya.

“Maafkan kami di atas apa yang saya akan katakan”

“Kerana kalian tetamu terhormat kami, sahabat baginda s.a.w yang amat dicintainya. Kami hanya mengharap redha Allah bersama kita semua.. sebenarnya puteri saya telah menolak pinangan Salman. Namun jika Abu Darda’ mempunyai hajat yang sama, puteri kami senang menerima pinangannya dengan penuh syukur” kata-kata wali wanita solehah itu tidak sedikit pun mengejutkan Salman al-Farisi malah menyambutnya dengan alunan tahmid yang tidak putus-putus.

Subhanallah... jelaslah wanita solehah itu hanya memilih Abu Darda’ sebagai pasangan hidupnya berbanding hajat asal datang daripada Salman al-Farisi. Bayangkan andai kita berada di posisi Salman al-Farisi, mungkin kita telah menyalahkan diri kerana telah tersilap membawa pendamping, teman bicara. Namun lain pula jawapan Salman al-Farisi;

“Allahu Akbar... Maha Suci Allah telah memilih teman baik saya sebagai pengganti” dengan penuh rasa kebesaran Tuhan menyelinap roh cinta-Nya memenuhi jiwanya yang kerdil.

“Semua mahar dan nafkah yang telah ku persiapkan ini akan aku serahkan pada Abu Darda’, teman baik ku dunia akhirat. Dan aku akan menjadi saksi pernikahan bersejarah kalian!” air mata kasih dan syukur membening suasana redup di suatu petang itu.

Begitulah jawapan Salman al-Farisi. Subhanallah, begitu kagum dan ta'ajubnya sy ketika membaca kisah cinta beliau. Reaksinya yg begitu bersahaja sudah menunjukkan yg beliau adalah pencinta sejati. Akur akan ketentuan Allah swt. Sejatinya bkn kerana beliau adalah sahabat Rasulullah, tetapi rahmat dan kasih syg Ilahi yg sentiasa menemani sekeping hatinya utk terus MEMBERI...teringat sy akan satu ayat ni. MEMBERI itu tidak bererti mengurangi apa yang ada, tp bersyukur dgn apa yg dimiliki, tidak haloba dgn apa yang tiada..

Salman al-Farisi yg begitu setia dan utama disisi Rasulullah juga diuji sedemikian hebat apabila cintanya ditolak oleh gadis solehah idamannnya. Dan yg lebih mengejutkan lagi, sahabat baiknya yg pada mulanya dijadikan 'teman bicara' utk meminang pula yg menjadi pilihan si gadis solehah.

Dan bagaimana pula reaksi jika kita meletakkan diri kita ditempat dan situasi Salman al-Farisi? mampukah kita memberi dn membenarkan segalanya dgn keikhlasan?? sudah pasti akan timbul sedikit rsa marah pada mulanya dan diikuti rsa terkilan. Tapi berbezanya dgn Salman al-Farisi. Beliau begitu kuat menerima setiap ketentuan Illahi dgn penuh rsa syukur dan redha. Baginya, satu pekerjaan yg besar lagi mulia adalah dgn MEMBERI...

Kisah beliau mengajar kita bahawa tiada tuhan yg berhak disembah melainkan Allah swt. Yang Maha mngetahui tentang sesuatu yg tidak kita ketahui..

Tapi saat ini belum saatnya untuk kita bertemu, bukannya aku tak mahu, atau aku tak rindu. Tapi sememangnya kerana perjalanan kita masih panjang. 10 amalan yg terbalik

Marilah kita bermuhasabah atau menilai dan menghitung kembali tentang amalan harian kita.

Kadang-kadang kita akan dapati amalan kita adalah terbalik atau bertentangan dari apa yang patut dilakukan dan dituntut

oleh Islam. Mungkin kita tidak sedar atau telah dilalaikan atau terikut-ikut dengan budaya hidup orang lain.

Perhatikan apa yang dipaparkan dibawah sebagai contoh amalan yang terbalik:-

1. selepas sesuatu kematian (malam pertama, kedua, ketiga, ketujuh dan seterusnya) adalah terbalik dari apa yang dianjurkan

oleh Rasulullah dimana

Rasulullah telah menganjurkan jiran tetangga memasak makanan untuk keluarga simati untuk meringankan kesusahan dan kesedihan

mereka.Keluarga tersebut telah ditimpa kesedihan, terpaksa pula menyedia makanan dan belanja untuk mereka yang datang

membaca tahlil. Tidakkah mereka yang hadir makan kenduri tersebut khuatir kalau-kalau mereka termakan harta anak yatim

yang ditinggalkan oleh simati atau harta peninggalan simati yang belum dibahagikan kepada yang berhak menurut Islam?

2. Kalau hadir ke kenduri walimatul urus (kenduri kahwin)orang kerap salam berisi (hadiah wang yang diberi semasa bersalam).

Kalau tak ada duit nak dikepit dalam tangan, maka segan ia nak pergi makan kenduri. Tetapi kalau ia menziarah orang mati,

tidak segan pula salam tak berisi.Sepatutnya kalau menziarah keluarga si matilah kita patut memberi sedekah.Kalau ke kenduri

kahwin,tak bagi pun tak apa kerana tuan rumah panggil untuk diberi makan bukan untuk ia menambah pendapatan.

3. Ketika menghadiri majlis pemimpin negara kita berpakaian cantik, kemas dan segak tetapi bila mengadap Allah baik di rumah

maupun di masjid,pakaian lebih kurang saja bahkan ada yang tak berbaju.Tidakkah ini suatu perbuatan yang terbalik.

4. Kalau menjadi tetamu di rumah orang dan di beri jamuan, kita rasa segan nak makan sampai habis apa yang dihidangkan kerana

rasa segan dan malu,sedangkan yang dituntut dibanyakkan makan dan dihabiskan apa yang dihidang supaya tuan rumah rasa

gembira dan tidak membazir.

5. Kalau bersolat sunat di masjid amat rajin, tapi kalau di rumah,sangat malas. Sedangkan sebaik-baiknya solat sunat banyak

dilakukan di rumah seperti yang dianjurkan oleh Rasulullah untuk mengelakkan rasa riak.

6. Bulan puasa adalah bulan mendidik nafsu termasuk nafsu makan yang berlebihan tetapi kebanyakan orang mengaku bahawa dalam

carta perbelanjaan setiap rumah orang Islam akan kita dapati perbelanjaan di bulan puasa adalah yang tertinggi dalam setahun.

Sedangkan sepatutnya perbelanjaan di bulan puasa yang terendah. Bukankah terbalik amalan kita?

7. Kalau nak mengerjakan haji, kebanyakan orang akan membuat kenduri sebelum bertolak ke Mekah dan apabila balik dari Mekah

tak buat kenduri pun.Anjuran berkenduri dalam Islam antaranya ialah kerana selamat dari bermusafir, maka dibuat kenduri,

bukan kerana nak bermusafir, maka dibuat kenduri. Bukankah amalan ini terbalik? Atau kita mempunyai tujuan lain.

8. Semua ibubapa amat bimbang kalau-kalau anak mereka gagal dalam periksa.Maka dihantarlah ke kelas tuisyen walau pun banyak

belanjanya.Tapi kalau anak tak boleh baca Quran atau solat, tak bimbang pula bahkan tak mahu hantar tuisyen baca Quran atau

kelas khas mempelajari Islam.Kalau guru tuisyen sanggup dibayar sebulan RM20.00 satu pelajaran 8 kali hadir tapi kepada

Tok Guru Quran nak bayar RM15.00 sebulan 20 kali hadir belajar pun menggeletar tangan. Bukankah terbalik amalan kita?

Kita sepatutnya lebih berbimbang jika anak tidak dapat baca Al Quran atau bersolat dari tidak lulus periksa.

9. Kalau bekerja mengejar rezeki Allah tak kira siang malam, pagi petang, mesti pergi kerja. Hujan atau ribut tetap diharungi

kerana hendak mematuhiperaturan kerja. Tapi ke rumah Allah (masjid) tak hujan, tak panas, tak ribut pun tetap

tak datang ke masjid.Sungguh tak malu manusia begini,rezeki Allah diminta tapi nak ke rumahNya segan dan malas.

10. Seorang isteri kalau nak keluar rumah samada dengan suami atau tidak,bukan main lagi berhias. Tetapi kalau duduk di rumah,

masyaAllah.Sedangkan yang dituntut seorang isteri itu berhias untuk suaminya, bukan berhias untuk orang lain.

Perbuatan amalan yang terbalik ini membuatkan rumah tangga kurang bahagia.

Cukup dengan contoh-contoh di atas. Marilah kita berlapang dada menerima hakikat sebenarnya. Marilah kita beralih kepada

kebenaraan agar hidup kita menurut landasan dan ajaran Islam yang sebenar bukan yang digubah mengikut selera kita.

Allah yang mencipta kita maka biarlah Allah yang menentukan

peraturan hidup kita.

1)the Libyan uprising - still no solution.everything seem to come to a dead end.Muammar Gaddaffi still dont want to call it a day.he said that either he win this war,or die trying.ironically,last week,he wrote a letter to Obama,begging for the American forces to stop air attacks on his loyal army....huh so much of winning the war.Rebel forces were still pinned down and scattered around the oil town Benghazi and Brega.they sometimes managed to take clusters of the cities,but are not able to hold out for the counter-offensive.this war turns out bad,when Gaddaffi starts to order the air force to bomb citizens housing areas.in response,NATO issues non-flying airspace as a safety measure,and starts to bomb Libyan army facilities.one airstrike hit a bunker Gaddafi was in,yet he survived.and the attacks on the ill-equipped rebel are starting to get even worse.NATO fighter jets have increased sorties,but mistakenly attacked a rebel compound,causing immense casualties.they made a statement,to not to apologize for what they had done,claiming that they only do their job.there are also comments about the spirited rebels,criticizing their lack of leadership,and how disorganized they are.well,you can put high hopes on a medical student,handling an AK-47 for the first time.but,they are not proving anything.without proper strategy,the war would go nowhere.all hopes would be lost.so now who is the bad guy?call your shots...

Here are his expert tips on how to keep your new laptop running smoothly. Sleep mode vs. shutting down Peters notes that your work process will determine whether it’s more efficient to use “Sleep” mode or simply shut down the computer. “It is never fun to have to consistently wait any amount of time if the shut downs are too frequent,” he says. "‘Sleep’ requires more power, but it boots up faster, while ‘Hibernate’ uses less power, but takes longer to come online.” That same logic applies to shutting off your computer completely. “Your computer will become obsolete before you wear out your computer by turning it on and off a lot,” he adds. “It also doesn't take more energy to start a computer than to keep it running.” Sleep mode requires a constant, though reduced use of power (0-6 watts). Peters also notes that colorful screensavers do nothing to conserve energy. Accessing your computer remotely with the Wake on LAN feature also can drain the power. i am having a really BIG problem of saying NO.is that a good sign?my mom said that people will take advantage on me,but i didn't really heard them..

Alexander's last words

There is very instructive incident involving the life of Alexander, the great Macedonian king.

Alexander, after conquering many kingdoms, was returning home. On the way, he fell ill and it took him to his death bed. With death staring him in his face, Alexander realized how his conquests, his great army, his sharp sword and all his wealth were of no consequence.

He now longed to reach home to see his mother’s face and bid her his last adieu. But, he had to accept the fact that his sinking health would not permit him to reach his distant homeland. So, the mighty conqueror lay prostrate and pale, helplessly waiting to breathe his last. He called his generals and said, “I will depart from this world soon, I have three wishes, please carry them out without fail.”

With tears flowing down their cheeks, the generals agreed to abide by their king’s last wishes.

“My first desire is that,” said Alexander, “My physicians alone must carry my coffin.” After a pause, he continued, “Secondly, I desire that when my coffin is being carried to the grave, the path leading to the graveyard be strewn with gold, silver and precious stones which I have collected in my treasury.“ The king felt exhausted after saying this. He took a minute’s rest and continued. “My third and last wish is that both my hands be kept dangling out of my coffin.”

The people who had gathered there wondered at the king’s strange wishes. But no one dare bring the question to their lips.

Alexander’s favorite general kissed his hand and pressed them to his heart. “O king, we assure you that your wishes will all be fulfilled. But tell us why do you make such strange wishes?”

At this Alexander took a deep breath and said: “I would like the world to know of the three lessons I have just learnt. I want my physicians to carry my coffin because people should realize that no doctor can really cure any body. They are powerless and cannot save a person from the clutches of death. So let not people take life for granted.

The second wish of strewing gold, silver and other riches on the way to the graveyard is to tell people that not even a fraction of gold will come with me. I spent all my life earning riches but cannot take anything with me. Let people realize that it is a sheer waste of time to chase wealth.

And about my third wish of having my hands dangling out of the coffin, I wish people to know that I came empty handed into this world and empty handed I go out of this world.”

With these words, the king closed his eyes. Soon he let death conquer him and breathed his last.

Alexander’s last words: “Bury my body, do not build any monument, keep my hands outside so that the world knows the person who won the world had nothing in his hands when dying“.

Moral of the story :

1. Remember your good health is in your own hands, look after it.

2. Sheer waste of time to chase wealth over everything through out this whole life.

3. What you do for yourself dies with you, but what you do for others, lives on. It's called legacy.

Nilai's new trademark

it is not astonishing as the leaning tower of Pisa, it still attract those Nilai citizens
i remember this place before as a barren soil,with no development on it in progress
then after a short while living in KTT,i realize that a Minangkabau shaped structure is on construction
the next time i passed it,the grass on the empty field had started to grow.the next few months,the park has been opened to public,and it is called as Dataran Nilai

people can freely go there at anytime they want.but it is the most lively during night time,when the flood lights are switched on.pretty much like a stadium,with no goal posts,and no people with studs chasing around for the ball
it is a really good place for hangout.in dataran merdeka,although the fields are somewhat similar,people cannot step over it.in Nilai,people running along,playing football barefooted,trying to fly kites,or just lying around for some good time.
we played frisbee here.and it was fun.seeing the kids running around made me happy.they even join our group for a toss of the frisbee.cute
and the breeze here during night time is terrific.felt like you were sitting on a beach..with no sea of course.

the Minangkabau-like structure functions as a stage.maybe for any events to be held here.with some small rooms upstairs.it also got a prayer room here for muslims,so you do not have to worry much.the main structure here,would be the clock tower.have touch of classic,with that analogue clock.too bad we cannot climb up the tower

a playground for kids is also available,making it the perfect spot for families during the weekend,if you do not have the time to plan for a vacation

ok.thats why i am home tonight.i can write freely,without people staring.hehehe....

it's a week full of drama i might say.hectic too.it was a great relief to finish the ielts test.while people celebrating thaipusam,Adib's hamsters mated.it cannot be shown here,because of it's explicit content.for mid semester examination,i think this was one of my well-prepared one.maybe,i had come to my senses,effectively after i lose almost rm350 to repeat 2 subjects for AS.luckily it's worth it.

my result was out with the JPA's students' result.from them,it was like seeing my future.how well can i cope with failure,or success.when i saw my repeat result on that window,i didn't jump for joy,even though my lips was smiling.because i know,how much it hurt to see u failing,while ur frens succeed.to all 29 friends,KTT wouldn't be the same without you guys.be strong.be faithful.never back down

how to change a flat tyre

i thought that only girls do not understand cars...it turns out that i didn't know it either(make sense..aku x de lesen lg la)

ok.we have to chase 4.25pm show at GSC alamanda.now we got a flat tyre?it should be a 5 minute job.but none of us had encountered this before.so,it does not matter whether you are a boy or a girl,if you don't know about it,the you are 2nd to nothing. thanks to uncle saba,we managed to replace it with spare tyre,and repair the old one

this is one ugly experience.here are some tips to share:

1.DONT PANIC.observe the situation carefully.

if the tyre punctured in the middle of the road,flick on the emergency signal.

get out and take a look at the tyre.if it still contains some air,try to move it to the road shoulder.if it is completely flat,dont risk it.the tyre would come out from the rim,damaging the whole part of the tyre.

Turn on your hazard lights and try to park the car on level ground as quickly as possible.

Put the automatic transmission into park and put the emergency brake on. If you have a manual transmission, leave it in first gear and pull the emergency brake.

If you have to park on even a slight incline, try to find a heavy object to wedge up against the good tyres. This will help to keep the car from rolling when you have it jacked up.

2.TAKE OUT YOUR TOOLS.useful tools such as jack,and a lug wrench.

Loosen the nuts on the tyre,dont screw it off.

NOTE:unscrew it counter-clockwise.

use the jack to lift the car(needs a lot of effort here) until the tyre is several inches off the ground.

unscrew the nuts now,and take out the flattened tyre.

place the spare tyre in position,and screw it properly.

it is not advised for you to keep on using the spare tyre.it has a speed limit of 8okm/h.repair the old ones as soon as possible and replace it back

i haven't acquired my license yet,but learnt something not every driver knows about it...rase bangge plak..haha

4 - Haha hmm how should I describe this. First met him during the event where the previous board of MPP pass down the job to us. That time I already sit in the LH while he just walked in after the Asar prayer. YOu can just sense the 'good-Muslim" factor in his face. He's really a nice guy, committed in everything, just same as how Mr. Fab doing for the Gunners. I love the way he present the Tazkirah in Surau. He make things easy to understand while still maintaining the essence of the talk. I am truly grateful he is part of the team that makes KTT a better place all these while. Thanks to him too, many MARA, MPP and BADAR event could run smoothly. One of the men who has the charisma to be an event coordinator. On futsal court, he never losses his cool. No matter how physical the game turns to be, he still as cool as cucumber, passing the ball all over the pitch and ready for the killer pass. I would love to see him part of the next "INVINCIBLE" team for KTT in KI, by God's willing. Thanks lot brother. Take care, study well over there :)

19 years of my life had thought me a lot.but still,i had a long way to go.not forgetting the fact that death waits for no one.when He says its time,there would be no delaying it.but at the same time,we have to live our life to the fullest.our nawaitu is what matters the most.set the course straight,and success will soon follow.new year resolution?quitting all nonsense stuff i made,and get 15/15 this coming A2 examination.i will do whatever it takes.

2010 only come once in a lifetime.and it have lot of moments. some are to cherish,some are to be reflected upon,some bring sadness,some bring happiness.it is the norm of this fana'a world. and most importantly thing,i guess,is that these memories will stick in my heart for years to come.

last night i went out,and go into the heart of KL to see the fireworks.not worth fighting my way into dataran merdeka.it was flooded by a sea of humans,where the gathered to witness the might of Harimau Malaya and their trophy...so i just sat around some western food stalls,and waited for the countdown.quite good chiken chop,though,i have.

maybe the fireworks was mistimed,because it was like five second after people shouted 'happy new year' then the first sparks of it can be seen.the two main location for the fireworks is at the dataran merdeka,and another is around pavillion. KLCC did not fire any,maybe of budget constraints. and that time i felt like i am in a war zone.

with exploding sounds here and there......makes me think about the children in Palestine.Gaza had been bombed countless of time,and it it far more worse then just exploding fireworks.here,we were happy to celebrate new year with explosions.but there,we had no idea how much damage an explosion causes to children on the new year's eve.and i realized,that i had done NOTHING about it.

i did some maths earlier this year.i must make at least two blog past a week to make sure my posts reach 100.but i didn't achieve that.and december is nearing its end,as you can see...i still have a long way to go.

maybe i type too slow.or maybe i am lazy to think of any new topic.or i brag too much for one post,and ran out of ideas for the next one.or maybe when i am connected to the internet,the 1st website that i will browse would be the Facebook. there,i already spent average half an hour per visit,even though i only have several notification.or maybe i only start too think what am i going to write when i sat in front of my computer. ideas blazing through my head several times in a day,but when i am putting my fingers on the keyboard,the brain immediately went blank.just a like a *spoof* in my head.and regathering informations and ideas are time consuming,so i rather leave my laptop and do other things.or maybe the principle of me of not writing crap stuffs.(crap heh...what is this all about?so much of being knowledgeable..).or maybe KTT is trapping its student from reaching the outside world,not mentioning the 'outing' system which may start around January or February next .or maybe because lack of HOLIDAYS,so i travel less...and not having great memories to share with.

one of the method to concentrate 'last gasp' efforts for us,is to stream all MARA students by academic performances.there are 2 classes,'ALU 12=tersangat lemah,ALU 13=lemah'.you don't have to think very long to figure out which class i'm in.anyways,it is god to know where we stand amongst these 'elites',and i can now have utter desire to work harder from now on.just look on the exam papers and you have no one to blame but yourself.

only one semester left. i remembered thinking,2 years is a very long time to spend,but time really flies.and not forgetting the fact,that sooner,i would be 2o years old.another year,and i would be eligible for PRU...hehehe.dh tua la kirenye...

IELTS exams coming up next month.i am not quite sure i'm prepared.all the components had not been quite mastered,especially writing.push3!!!

ever seen this book?this is the most simple,straight forward,but the most ignored book by the citizens of Malaysia.this book is supposed to be the national best-selling book and a must-have.

as a compulsory event for overseas-bound student,the BTN camp,that is always rumored to be a brainwash session,turned out to be something that brings awareness to me.i've never seen the importance of studying history in history.but in this one.they got me.it was baffling to see the stats,to know the truth,and to learn what had actually been instilled in our minds for such a long time.this country is multi-racial,so a smallest piece of spark,can ignite the worst kind of fire.there are a lot of people out there who had their own agenda to gain complete control of this country.

Amirul Asyraf's bro getting married that day,and the only crew on board left that day were only me and safwan.others just got other important matters to attend.never mind then.i could seat at the front.and the car would be spacious.woohhoo...

panas bedentum.the right phrase for weather condition that day.luckily in Safwan's Naza,the scorching heat only bothered us little.Melaka is quite far out from serdang,plus some tricky road sign along the way,but Amirul was really helpful,willing to left his work for a while,to guide us straight to his home.thanks a lot.the dishes were very great.rugi besar sape x datang do..

safwan intention to go for 2nd time trip to MAHA was quite inviting.it's my 1st time though.but we arrived around 6.45pm,where the rain pours the heaviest.this was the time where we hopped and ran under on umbrella,like a cute and romantic couple.eyes were upon us.huh,jeles aa tuh.and late afternoon seemed not the time for the visitors to subside.they just kept coming,and we have to walk a very long way from the car,to the main hall.FOOD TEST?me 1st!!this got nothing to do with biology experiments.i just ate out appetite.impreesive.some local products matched international quality,judging from it's taste,but i haven't seen their product anywhere.hope this carnival will act as a platform for them to move forward in future.SYABAS MALAYSIA!

Putra Station

a two-pin plug.it's a big difference from having the ability to snap countless photos,and sitting there just watching.without that tiny little thing,my brother's camera cannot be recharged,and he cannot go out snapping photos again.and that thing was in my KTT room closet,78 clicks from Ampang.who's to blame?

luckily,those east coasters still around,because their trip home usually a day late,and must be booked before hand.Amir was a man with a mission:to safely go to the Putra Station with my two-pin plug,before heading to Terengganu.mission impossible,the might said,but not for Agent Amir 'Ah Road',the JayPa(JPA).

truth is,i never been to putra station.the only bus station i knew very well were Hentian Puduraya,and Hentian Duta.but not this one.i always noticed this place when i went to the book fair near PWTC,and also when passing by the Jalan Mahameru,but never actually stopped there.from what i know,this station is the place where you can get buses to go to East Coast destinations.well,that makes sense.i do not have that many connections around that area,from my family lineage.

Amir successfully completed the main objective.he brought the two-pin plug,and gave it to me as soon as i arrived there.and we went on,moving inside the bus station,to safe-keep Amir's luggage.here,it's totally a different world.well,if it's not noticeable at first,than,you cannot deny the aura.it was like you already arrived in kelantan or terrengganu,and the people there are so interesting.gone all the KL stuffs.here,you can hear all those slangs.it was very lively.

Amir and me talked a lot.to keep him company until Zaim arrives.and also because after this,i wouldn't be meeting Amir again for some time.hopeful to see him agin during his KI session.

ahh...ages since i last updated my blog.alhamdulillah,after almost one month of full-throttle studying(although with some,frequent CS session..hehe),the exams are finally over.now i can breathe in some relaxing air,in my cozy,lovely home.final semester examination is only one week, but by repeating 2 subjects for AS,the period had been extended.i couldn't care less about the finals.my hands are already full revising back those AS syllabus.anyone who haven't took the AS examination yet,remember to study hard.don't ever implement in your mind:'alah,takpe,nanti bole repeat'....trust me,it have never been easy just to keep up.majority of student's brain,typically,functions like a light bulb.automatically turned off,as last paper had been submitted.

chemistry paper for dessert,and then i'm off to back to my hometown,KL(so much of a hometown eh?)

rain showered KL.the blue Kancil of zaim,seemed to be transforming into an amphibious vehicle.we were lucky to move out early,because the rain just kept pouring.looking outside,just when we cruised on the elevated portion of the MRR2,we saw a beautiful sight of the city.it felt refreshing,and soothingly.....clean.who cursed the rain must be very stupid.the hazy,heavily polluted KL is not a very healthy place to live in.and the rain that come and go,act as a buffer.and truly rain is a blessing from Allah.but they gave them different names:'la nina','tengkujuh'.never mind.as long as people see the good side of it.

Adib got a message from Mdm Ozie about 2am yesterday saying,that one of our MARA seniors had passed away in davangere.cause of death?multiple skull fracture after he met with a motorcycle accident.we only knew the news early in the morning.

another strong message for us.death lingers around us.it does not care,how young are you,how busy,what course you're taking.when the time comes,there wouldn't be any delay,nor hasten even for a millisecond.this time around,there are a lot of deaths,involving people that are related to us somehow.and all of them are still studying.'very young,and still have many more years to come'. i believed most people thinks the same way.they rather talk about earthly matters,then concentrating on bulking up amal to be carried to the grave.

we tend to forget,that our human body is just another body.the thing that matters the most,is our soul.ever imagined how our body would fare against that scary,dark hole of yours.here's an excerpt from harunyahya.com:

to date,i already got two 'roti gardenia coklat' ,2 cups of sea master mineral water.hmm...not bad for RM388 (for sure,repeating is tiring,and also costs some real money).got more heading my way for biology next up.

after a week cramming up my brain for last-minute study for chem,i needed a break,and deepavali holiday is for 4 straight days.perfect timing.thanks zaim for sending me straight to my home sweet home.(seronok ade kawan cmni..moga diberkati Allah sentiasa).got to see my mom's and dad's face quickly eased up all the tension i felt throughout the week.note:it will be a straight 2 months examination season.after repeating paper,then comes along final.oh God,help us.

chem papers are all good.special thanks to all individual who supported me for this examination.the bad thing about chem,is paper 1.it's on the 19th,a day after bio p1....no Eid Adha for me..aiyo..

i've been busy for the most of time.turning down syazwan's invitation for a plenty of occasions.my excuses were very lame,but he accepted it.,maybe hearing the word 'rehlah' made me quite scared.then,this thought came to me:

'bende2 Islam ni xnak plak wat...yang huha2 sane sini tu laju aje..'

astaghfirullah...not to boast around,only as a reminder to all

eventhough futsal last night dragged up to 2.30 am,i am not moved.this time around,i set to follow him,pukul 8 pon lapanlah.not too bad because i got fakhrul with me,not forgetting idris.with them around,it may made me feel less weird during discussion in usrah.few juniors were also in:annur ashraf,hasif,azfar,amirul(wak).

taking the kajang-hulu langat route was quite long.it takes us about an hour and a half to reach sungai gabai.although it was barely 10 o'clock in the morning + rain,public had started to come and taken all the hotspots.but that wasn't our main objective,we climbed up the stairs,tracked up the rough terrain,following the river trail,to a place,which was silent,and far away from the crowds.here we put down our stuffs,and.....kecepor!!!

i thought being an mpp,automatically,makes the junior know you better.seem that's not the case.they still do not know my real name.and luckily the usrah gave me chance to introduce myself.hadoy malunye...after that,we went on for 'river trailing'...as said by syazwan.we ventured forward,deep into thick forest.and we reached dead end when those fallen giant bamboos seemed so creepy.back to base.

nasi lemak awaits us,and hell,we ate like Somalians.but the side effect was very devastating.idris was tasked of giving a short tazkriah about one of the Rasulullah (pbuh) companions,Abu Talhah Al-Ansari.ever heard of him?a short synopsis:he was a really great gentleman.from strength to money,he got it all.he was asked by the woman that she wishes to marry,to embrace Islam.and that would be the mahar for the marriage.after that,he became a well known warrior for Islam,and was elected as a naqib,when he was a member of the 2nd Aqabah Treaty.he went on to create history as a well known archer,when he fought gallantly to protect Rasulullah (pbuh) from the uprising musyrikin forces in the chaotic Uhud battle.during the times of Khulafa',he fasted for thirty years,except for the forbidden days,and participated in every jihad.he died as a syuhada', and while fasting.

that is what we call husnul khatimah.

there was a guy who married 4 different types of women

the first one:not well dressed,not appropriately groomed,and the husband just had only little care towards her.but she was the one who had always loved her husband so much,more than other wives..

the 2nd one:although aging cannot escape her,but the husband couldn't love her more.this one always been to place for the husband to share his problems.the 2nd one always supported the husband whatever the path he takes.

the third one:she was the most stylish.up to date,you may say.and the husband always comply to all her wishes.but some say she married only to after for the money.if he is going to die,she will surely run away.

the fourth one:as always,the most loved one.the husband always look after her.the food,the shape,diet...everything.

before long,everyone were happy with how the things stand.but then came a time where the husband suffers a really chronic disease,and death was upon him.he was so afraid to go to the deep,dark grave,alone.

he asked his 4th wife:

husband:i love u the most here.would u come with me to the grave?

wife:oh,no i cannot...it's too dark in there..and scary..don't ever hope me to go with u!

his heart were shattered by the cruel answer,but he pick himself up to ask his third wife:

husband:i gave u everything u craved.and i can even give you the whole world if you want to.but this time,i only ask u to come with me.can you?

the husband was startled.he cannot believe what he just heard,and saw.the immediate response was unexpected.he glances back to his right,where his 2nd wife was sitting

husband:i really do hope u can accompany me there,as u had did well in the few past decades we've been together

wife:(with a cool tone)...sorry,i cannot.i really,really love you,but to ask me to be with u in the grave is too much.the most i could do is to only send u there..sorry

then,it was utter silence.no suitable word u can give for the sadness felt by the husband.he was too guilty to ask the first wife,remembering the way how he had treated her.

'i can go with u',the silence broke.a little excitement flows in the husband

the first wife continued:i had always be with you.from the beginning,my love for you never fade.and i shall be with u,for eternity.

tears began to roll down the husband's cheek.'i am so stupid.if i knew that u will be the one to be with me in there,surely u will be the one that i love the most!'

the 2nd wife is,FAMILY and FRIENDS.yes,they do give us support and everything,but as the story had told you,the most they could do,is only to send us to the grave.and then they will leave you there

the 1st wife is,SOUL.and what soul needs is TAQWA.taqwa can only be acheived when u worked for it,bestowing that Allah is the only god.not satan,not money,not power.this can be achieved with AMAL-the thing that we lacked the most nowadays

shah alam: reminiscence of good old memories

shah alam,selangor.it will be about 30 minutes driving from city center,without considering traffic conditions.for me,shah alam has it's own way of defining itself.this city is very special to me,besides kuala selangor,and KL of course.my history spans widely throughout the country,and shah alam was not missed.a number of memorable event in my life took place here.and last friday,seems like it notched up another

i've never been to bukit cerakah.heard about it a lot,but never actually been there.thanks to biodiversity topic,(which i think never crossed our mind during the trip),we have an opportunity to explore the wonders of nature there.and it was totally brand new experience for me,going to nature trip with friends. to bad i cannot borrow my brother's canon for the trip(kedekut),he only gave me his Lumix(okla baik aa gak en?).got some nice photos,but always can be better images if i have those CMOS sensor and digic 5 filtering of 450d.

the best part of the trip,is to ride the bicycle.i have been craving for this since my bicycle was damaged beyond repair,6 years ago.and what makes it more interesting,is that we get to go sight seeing on our ride,and secrete all those keringat2 remaja...hehehe..i was lucky to follow zarul's group,as we ventured uphill for empangan sungai baru.turns out that they got this red tilapia breeding project,where they sold for rm10 per kg.'biasenye klu kt luar diorg jual 14 hingit sekilo''said the stationed worker.we also have the chance to fed those fish,some pellets.your hand wont't be harmed by this creature,so you can even dip your hand inside and get a hold of it.

the only bad thing about this trip,was the shortage of time.it was almost impossible to cover the whole bukit cerakah in just two hours.we need to get more of it.i swore to myself,if i am going to a trip like this again,i will not leave without a camera,and not going home for at least six hours of adventure.jauh perjalanan,luas pandangan.=)

(Ground Zero – nama yang diberikan kepada tapak runtuhan World Trade Center pada 11/9/2001)

Keyakinan ini berdasarkan berita dari Al-Quran yang dengan jelas menyebut tentang pembinaan masjid dhirar di zaman Rasulullah. Dan firman berkenaan masjid dhirar (di Quba) tidaklah terhenti maksudnya di zaman itu sahaja. Sudah tentu ia difirmankan untuk mentakrifkan kejadian-kejadian yang bakal berlaku di akhir zaman yakni zaman sekarang ini.

Dua bukti pada Surah At-Taubah

Kami ingin nyatakan di sini bahawa pembinaan masjid kontroversi ini (Masjid Ground Zero) telah pun diisyaratkan dalam Al-Quran sejak 1400 tahun dahulu. Isyarat akan kewujudan masjid ini dinyatakan dalam surah At-Taubah, ayat 107 dan 109 secara tepat dan tiada perumpamaan.

Pertama : Surah At-Taubah, ayat 107;

Maksudnya;

“Dan (di antara orang-orang munafiq juga ialah) orang-orang yang membinamasjid dengan tujuan membahayakan (keselamatan orang-orang Islam), dan (menguatkan) keingkaran (mereka sendiri), serta memecah-belahkan perpaduan orang-orang yang beriman, dan juga untuk (dijadikan tempat) intipan bagi orang yang telah memerangi Allah dan Rasul-Nya sebelum itu. Dan (apabila tujuan mereka yang buruk itu ketara), mereka akan bersumpah dengan berkata: “Tidaklah yang kami kehendaki (dengan mendirikan masjid ini) melainkan untuk kebaikan semata-mata”. Padahal Allah menyaksikan bahawa sesungguhnya mereka adalah berdusta.”

Keseragaman Peristiwa dengan Ayat 107

1. “….membina masjid dengan tujuan membahayakan (keselamatan orang-orang Islam)”

Di Kabul, Afghanistan dua orang Islam telah mati dan empat lagi cedera dalam satu demonstrasi menentang kempen membakar Al-Quran. Dua lelaki tersebut mati ditembak askar Jerman yang berkawal di Kabul.

Semenjak Cordoba Initiative mencadangkan untuk membina masjid berhampiran Ground Zero, umat Islam sentiasa dipandang hina malah simbol keganasan mula kembali diapi-apikan di internet, media Israel, masyarakat non-muslim untuk menggambarkan imej umat Islam khususnya di Amerika.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser dari American Islamic Forum for Democracy of Phoenix Arizona tidak bersetuju dengan cadangan Cordoba Initiative menurutnya, Ground Zero sangat tidak sesuai kerana Ground Zero adalah lokasi di mana Amerika menggunakannya untuk membina alasan agar umat Islam Iraq diserang dan Ground Zero.

Kenyataan Dr. Zuhdi sangat tepat kerana Ground Zero juga adalah tempat pertama yang menyebabkan Islam dilabel sebagai pengganas. Ia juga punca kepada umat Islam Amerika berada dalam bahaya dan ancaman semenjak September 2001.

Selain Dr. Zuhdi, terdapat pertubuhan-pertubuhan lain yang tidak bersetuju dengan Cordoba Initiative antaranya ialah Ahmadiyya Muslim Community(London), Center for Islamic Plurasim (Amerika), Pengarah Televisyen Al-Arabiya dan lain-lain lagi.

Kesemuanya bersetuju bahawa mereka sangsi mengapa Cordoba Initiative memilih lokasi terbabit yang sudah pasti bakal mencetuskan kemarahan masyarakat bukan Islam Amerika.

2. “….dan (menguatkan) keingkaran (mereka sendiri)”.

Multi-billionaire terkenal Amerika, Donald Trump secara peribadi menawarkan kawasan lain di sekitar New York untuk pembinaan masjid baru manakala semua kos akan ditanggung oleh beliau. Malangnya, Cordoba Initiative enggan menerima tawaran tersebut, mereka menguatkan keingkaran mereka dengan hujah kononnya masjid sangat diperlukan di Ground Zero.

Pada 9 Sept 2010, jurucakap Cordoba Initiative memberitahu mereka tetap dengan pendirian mereka membina masjid di situ kerana mendapat sokongan White House. Keengganan mereka memindah masjid menjadi tanda tanya sebahagian pemerhati konspirasi kerana ia boleh mewujudkan rasa benci jangka panjang masyarakat bukan Islam seluruh dunia. Walaupun tujuan itu dilihat murni kerana membina tempat ibadat umat Islam New York tetapi sokongan padu White House yang diluar jangka sentiasa menjadi persoalan.

3. “…juga untuk (dijadikan tempat) intipan bagi orang yang telah memerangi Allah dan Rasul-Nya sebelum itu.”

Ayat di atas jelas membuktikan bahawa Masjid Ground Zero boleh dijadikan tempat intipan oleh kelompok Yahudi Zionis mengenalpasti mana-mana individu muslim yang sangat produktif dalam menegakkan syariah islamiyah. Sekiranya masjid tersebut siap dan setelah ramai umat Islam bersolat dan beraktiviti di sana maka adalah mudah golongan Illuminati mengintip mana-mana umat Islam yang sangat tegas pendirian syariah Islamiyahnya.

Ayat tersebut dengan jelas memberitahu tujuan sebenar masjid itu adalah untuk tujuan mengintip. Ayat tersebut memang benar kerana dana membina bangunan 13 tingkat Cordoba House yang di dalamnya akan mempunyai masjid datang dari sumbangan organisasi-organisasi Yahudi elit seperti Rockefeller.

Adakah kelompok Yahudi elit ini sengaja menghabiskan duit beratus-ratus juta dollar untuk berbakti kepada umat Islam? Adakah mereka benar-benar untuk membantu?

4. “…dan (apabila tujuan mereka yang buruk itu ketara).

Maksud ‘ketara’ dalam ayat di atas ialah ‘terbongkar’ atau sudah kelihatan. Dengan pertolongan Allah Subhanawataala, sesungguhnya tidak semua perancangan rahsia Yahudi sentiasa berjaya diselindung. Kini maklumat tentang penyumbang-penyumbang rahsia yang berada di belakang Cordoba Initiative sudah lebih sebulan terbongkar.

Kini, perkara yang terbongkar bukan sahaja setakat penyumbang-penyumbang ‘misteri’ seperti Rockefeller, malah pembinaa Masjid Ground Zero dipercayai didalangi oleh agen-agen CIA antaranya ialah R. Leslie Deak. Leslie terlibat dengan pengurusan Cordoba Initiative sejak 2004 lagi dan pernah menyumbang dana peribadi sebanyak USD98,000 kepada organisasi itu.

Leslie merupakan ahli lembaga penasihat rasmi bagi Cordoba Initiative di New York dan cawangannya di Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Syarikat utama Leslie iaituPatriot Defense Group adalah kumpulan yang bertanggungjawab mengurus kos-kos semua operasi agen CIA di Timur Tengah. Leslie pernah berkahwin dengan wanita Yahudi, dan kini berkahwin pula dengan wanita Islam, Moshira Soliman.

(Kiri) Leslie Deak bersama isterinya, Moshira Soliman (Kanan) David Rockefeller, raja konspirasi Yahudi elit antarabangsa. Berumur 95 tahun dan masih kuat bergerak merata ke seluruh dunia.

5. “….mereka bersumpah dengan berkata: “Tidaklah yang kami kehendaki (dengan mendirikan masjid ini) melainkan untuk kebaikan semata-mata.”

Tetapi pada akhir ayat tersebut disertakan satu ‘ungkapan’ kata-kata golongan munafik iaitu mereka mendirikan untuk tujuan kebaikan semata-mata. Apakah ungkapan ini sengaja untuk mengindahkan ayat 107, tentunya tidak, ia adalah amaran nyata dari Allah.

Buktinya, di dalam semua temu ramah yang disertai Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, beliau sering mengulang-ulang kenyataan pembinaa masjid dan Cordoba House adalah untuk ‘keamanan’ dan mengeratkan ‘perpaduan’ antara Islam dengan Kristian dan Yahudi.

Jelaslah bahawa keseluruhan intipati ayat 107 sangat tepat bunyinya dengan situasi sekarang ia seolah-olah mengisyaratkan berita masa depan untuk renungan umat Islam.

Surah At-Taubah, ayat 109;

Maksudnya;

“Maka adakah orang yang membangunkan masjid yang didirikan di atas dasar taqwa kepada Allah dan (untuk mencari) keredhaan Allah itu lebih baik, ataukah orang yang membangunkan masjid yang didirikannya di tepi jurang yang (hampir) runtuh, lalu runtuhlah ia dengan yang membangunkannya ke dalam api neraka? Dan (ingatlah) Allah tidak akan memberi hidayah petunjuk kepada orang-orang yang zalim.”

Di bawah ini kami cerakinkan intipati ayat 109 dan membuat kesesuaian fakta dengan situasi-situasi yang berlaku sekarang ini. Lihatlah kebenaran ayat 109.

Keseragaman Peristiwa Dengan Ayat 109

1. “….ataukah orang yang membangunkan masjid ….”

Ayat di atas menunjukkan amaran Allah tentang perilaku seseorang yang melakusan sesuatu urusan kerja pembinaan masjid. ‘Orang’ yang dimaksudkan boleh jadi merujuk kepada pemimpin Cordoba Initiative, ASMA , pemaju dan individu lain yang terlibat.

Selain itu, syarikat yang bertanggungjawab untuk membina Cordoba House dan Masjid Ground Zero juga boleh dinisbahkan pada maksud ‘orang’ yang diterjemahkan itu. Ini kerana, pengarah Soho Properties, Sharif El-Gamalmempunyai identiti Islam yang meragukan walaupun baru memeluk Islam pada 2001.

Ia kerana walaupun Sharif El-Gamal (gambar) seorang Islam namun beliau juga adalah ahli pertubuhan Yahudi di Manhattan (Jewish Community Center of Manhattan) malah anak perempuannya juga didaftarkan sebagai ahli kelab renang di pusat tersebut. Sharif juga pernah disabitkan pelbagai kesalahan jenayah sejak 1990.

2. “….masjid yang didirikan di tepi jurang (hampir) runtuh, ….”

Intipati ayat ini sangat jelas kerana ia merujuk terus kepada bangunan masjid yang bakal dibina di tepi tapak runtuhan World Trade Center (WTC). Cordoba House dan Masjid Ground Zero s dalam kertas kerjanya menyebut akan dibina 600 kaki atau 2 blok daripada Ground Zero dengan setinggi 13 tingkat.

Gambar di atas menunjukkan blok bangunan (bulatan merah) yang bakal diubahsuai dan dijadikan Masjid Groud Zero. Imej runtuhan tersebut adalah Gorund Zero.

Mengapa di dalam ayat di atas disebut jurang? Sedangkan tiada ‘jurang’ yang kelihatan pada tapak Ground Zero melainkan saki baki runtuhan WTC.

Pada pandangan kami (ini bukan sejenis tafsiran ayat Al-Quran), jurang tersebut jelas merujuk kepada fizikal World Trade Center jika dilihat dari posisi atas atau ‘cloud view’. Kedudukan dua blok WTC yang tinggi menampakkan ia seakan-akan jurang yang mendalam. Lihat gambar bawah.

Allah Mencela Orang Yang Merendah-rendahkan Hikmah Ayat Al-Quran

Dalam surah At-Taubah, ayat 124;

Maksudnya;

“Dan apabila diturunkan sesuatu surah (dari Al-Quran) maka di antara mereka (yang munafik) ada yang bertanya (secara mengejek): “siapakah di antara kamu yang imannya bertambah disebabkan oleh surah ini?” Dan adapun orang-orang yang beriman, maka surah itu menambahkan iman mereka, sedang mereka bergembira (dengan turunnya).”

Allah Maha Bijaksana dalam urusan wahyuNya, lihatlah sahaja pada surah At-Taubah, ayat 124

Ayat di atas sudah cukup untuk membalas ejekan sesetengah golongan Islam yang selalu memandang rendah akan hikmah ayat-ayat Al-Quran. Ia juga menjadi peluru hidup kepada sesetengah golongan Islam sendiri yang selalu menganggap setiap kejadian di dunia hanyalah ‘kebetulan’ sahaja dengan apa yang difirmankan dalam Al-Quran.

Rahsia Lain Surah At-Taubah

Di sini kami akan tunjukkan betapa hebatnya firman-firman Allah dalam Al-Quran dan mukjizat terselindung di sebalik ayat-ayat tersebut.

Pertama : Lokasi Masjid Ground Zero

Beza antara ayat 107 dan 109 (At-Taubah) adalah 2 iaitu (109 -107 = 2), maka dapat dilihat bahawa lokasi bangunan yang digunakan untuk membina Masjid Ground Zero ialah 2 blok daripada tapak runtuhan WTC.

Kedua : Tarikh kejadian 11.09.2001 atau 911

Ayat 107 dan 109 ini terkandung dalam surah At-Taubah. Seperti yang kita sedia maklum bahawa surah At-Taubah berada pada surah ke-9 dan juz ke-11.

Hikmah di sebalik Isu Pembakaran Al-Quran

Sesuatu yang ditakdirkan Allah sudah pasti membawa hikmah, ia bukan persoalan nasib tetapi pengajaran serta amaran yang cuba dilemparkan Allah ke atas hati-hati umat Islam.

Disebalik isu ini dan pembongkaran Al-Quran tentang Masjid Ground Zero, ia sedikit sebanyak boleh menyedarkan umat Islam bahawasanya umat Islam perlu lebih berhati-hati dalam setiap isu sensitif yang cuba dibangkitkan oleh puak kuffar.

Umat Islam juga harus lebih sedar bahawasanya perancangan sulit Yahudi bukan setakat menceroboh negara-negara Islam melalui peperangan-peperangan yang dicetuskan tetapi perancangan itu boleh berupa sebuah pertubuhan Islam, gerakan Islam, persidangan hatta mungkin orang Islam sendiri sebagai tali barut zionis.

Na’uzubillahiminzaalik …

P/S: Perhatian, pembongkaran di atas bukanlah sejenis tafsiran ayat Al-Quran, ianya sekadar membuat perbandingan fakta antara peristiwa semasa dengan perkhabaran dalam Al-Quran. Bagi melihat tafsiran yang tepat, pembaca disarankan merujuk kitab-kitab tafsir karangan ulama’-ulama’ muktabar seperti Tafsir Al-Azhar, Tafsir Ibnu Kathir dan sebagainya.

it had never came to me,that learning islam this way is so much fun.before we started,plenty of thoughts came to my mind,saying that diploma students wont give a damn of what we are trying to give,and just return to their home empty handed.those thoughts were wrong.they are not the onl ones who are learning.it is me instead.and i am sure other facilitators are feeling the same thing.and i am very LUCKY to be a part of,what i think,the most beneficial camp i have attended so far.(even though being m.i.a quite a lot)

this is the first time,that i have to plan,facilitate and also participate in this camp.under the dictatorship of sufian(jgn marah eekk....),the 3 day camp went unsurprisingly smooth.i automatically needed to give 110% in this.there have been unavoidable circumstances that needed to be overcame,and the result is satisfying.Pusat Islam UPM proved to be a good place for this kind of camp.thanks to great guns like nuril,safwan,fakhrul,zuhilmi,zaim,faisal,amirul...the camp is something memorable.not forgetting the great support shown by girls facilitators.i thank you all.

after the sept 21st,i am no longer the BADAR multimedia exco.new boys stepped in,new faces,with new hopes.while the old guys give way to a new era,and a new hope.frankly,it wasn't that hard to be an exco.people will quickly associate this responsibility to images they think they must behold.for me,while the opportunity is open for you to get closer to God,while doing some work for the sake of what i believe in,cannot be wasted away.i know who i am,yet,i try to think positive,and get the most out of it.

raya sebulan.thats what they said.and i am living to the expectation.the next day,wednesday,was the Megaria Aidilfitri KTT 2010.a great stage to test the Canon EOS before setting off to ulu bendul.megaria was similar like the past,only with the addition of election of the new MPPs...huiyo..senang keja aku pas ni...ringan dah tanggungjwab.tinggal belaja je..haha.and fyi,for the first time in my one year in KTT,to eat with others,and not to serve them.huu....heaven.and i don't have to stayback for cleanup,we got the new boys standing by.LOL

i managed to buy raya clothes just before setting off to teluk intan on the 8th of sept. there was one time,i have to go to the back of a bazaar tent to try my baju melayu,when i saw a man.....eating some nuggets...malay...ish2 x puasa ni.but,be positive though.he maybe sick at that moment.

the traffic was smooth all the way to teluk intan,despite us getting stuck a little at Loke Yew.dozed off quite long,just to notice i am in front yard of my kampung house.what a soft evening breeze.we unload our cargo,then dashes off to menara condong bazaar,to buy the Astro remote control...dh x rase kmpung dh..siap bwak astro balik kampung skali..hehehe

done quite a lot this raya: photo shoot,beraya,futsal,kacau dodol,lemang,another photoshoot...huu...too much,i can't write it all..

how to become a good goalkeeper

this photo was taken around february 2009,where arini FC participated in a futsal competition.this was our 2nd,and again we came back empty handed.

i injured my arm during MSSD handball.since that,it had never recovered 100%.if i overstreched it,my muscle aches.felt like my whole shoulder was dislocated.although the overstretched muscle would return back to normal,the aches would remain for a week.and it is getting worse as the time pass by.physiotherapist said it would cost me around rm1500 for the aches to go away forever.darn it.i am not a world-class athlete to afford that kind of treatment,just forget it

that's why now i prefer not to be the goalie.not because i hate it,because i don't want to get myself injured.but those instant reflexes and catching i gained from basketball proved to be useful for goalies.however on form i can be on a day,once the aching comes,there would be no more hope left.

i want to share what i've gained for a past few years.i still want to get better

1. positioning is everything.you must know when to stand,when to prepare.

2. mind the balance.put your weight forward.this makes you ready for anything,but don't overdo it.once you lose balance,the goal you let in would become a silly one

3. it's not just about hands,it's also about your feet.by any means possible,you must stop the ball.why struggling to catch a grounder shot,while you can just simply deflect it away using your feet?

4. know your post.remember how high was the crossbar.know where your far post is,how many step u need to go to the other post

5.body shifting.i still haven't mastered this one.if the ball was like moving really fast,if possible,shift your body towards the ball path,rather than hands

6.be brave.when one-on-one,the goalie must time his charge perfectly.just go for it.don't be afraid if you let it in.it shouldn't be any one-on-one situation

7.voice out commands.you are the eyes of the pitch.no one have a better view than you.a good goalie is one man that communicate efficiently his defenders.

1. Prepare a solution of water and a neutral cleaner (such as liquid dish-washing detergent or another mild product).

2.Remove laces and inserts and rinse the shoes with water inside and out.

3.Use a soft brush and the cleaning solution to scrub every part of both shoes, including liners and insoles.

4.Remove scuff marks with a white nylon-backed scrub pad.

5.Rinse the shoes thoroughly with water.

6.Stuff the shoes with paper (not newspaper'the ink will run and make a mess) to absorb excess water and to help the shoes keep their shape. Allow them to drip-dry.

7.Wash the laces in a load of laundry. Allow the inserts to air out, and apply baking soda to them if they're smelly.

8.Replace the inserts and laces after the shoes dry completely.

9.Apply white cream shoe polish to white leather parts and black polish to black leather parts.

Q: What can I do to extend the life of my running shoes?

A: Take good care of them. Don't store shoes in cold areas (like an unheated garage or porch) during the winter or in direct sunlight during the summer. And don't wear running shoes for other sports such as tennis, soccer or basketball. After running in wet weather, be sure to dry your running shoes (including the insoles) thoroughly by placing them near a heat source. But don't dry them in a dryer.

Q: Will my shoes last longer if I alternate two pairs?

A: Not really. Running shoes aren't like your body; they don't need rest days. Shoes are made of foam and rubber, and daily use doesn't significantly affect their durability. Two exceptions: if you run twice a day, or if you get your shoes wet frequently, then alternating them might be a good idea to let each pair dry out better.

Q: I got more than 500 miles out of one pair of shoes but only 375 out of another. What gives?

A: Different shoes are made from different materials. Some running shoes are more durable than others because they are made of more durable materials.

The two most important components of any shoe are the midsole and outsole. Midsoles are made from either ethyl vinyl acetate (EVA) or polyurethane. EVA is used in most running shoes because it's lighter and has a more cushioned feel than polyurethane. But polyurethane is denser and more durable than EVA. Different companies embed a variety of air bags, gels, plastic devices and viscous solution in their midsoles; these can also affect midsole durability because they replace midsole foam.

Outsoles are made from either blown rubber or carbon rubber. Blown rubber is lighter, more cushiony and less durable than carbon rubber. Several shoes use blown rubber in the forefoot (for added cushioning) and carbon rubber in the high-wear areas of the heel (for better durability).

The most durable shoe has a polyurethane midsole and a carbon-rubber outsole. But don't expect this shoe to deliver maximum cushioning and lightness.

If you have any questions about the materials a shoe is made of, ask the salesperson or ask to see product information on that shoe.

Q: Is the shoe's weight a factor in durability?

A: Definitely. Generally, a very light shoe (less than 10 1/2 ounces) is less durable than a heavier shoe. That's one reason racing shoes are not nearly as durable as training shoes.

Q: Are there other factors to consider?

A: All the other factors are related to your individual running attributes and habits. If you're a big runner who trains primarily on roads, your shoe's midsoles and outsoles won't last as long as those of a light runner using the same shoe who trains primarily on grass and soft trails. Similarly, the more you overpronate (your feet roll too far inward upon impact), the more stress you put on the midsole and upper, and the quicker the shoes will break down.

Q: How do I know when my shoes are worn out and should be replaced?

A: For the reasons mentioned above, it's difficult to give an exact mileage guide. But here are some things you can do: (1) stick your finger into the midsole to see if it feels brittle or compressed; (2) place your shoes on a table and check them for imbalances, such as worn areas or tilting to one side or the other; (3) listen to your aches and pains--they often mean it's time for a new pair of shoes.

Finally, it's important to understand that midsoles usually deteriorate before outsoles. In other words, don't stick with a pair of shoes just because the outsoles seem fine. If the midsoles are shot, it's time for new shoes.

Q: What else can I do?

A: Mileage isn't everything, but some runners use their training logs to track how many miles they run in each pair of shoes they own. Not a bad idea. Other runners write the date of purchase somewhere on the shoe. That way, they know when several months have passed and it's time to start thinking about a new pair.

Q: How many miles can I reasonably expect out of my running shoes?

A: Okay, you know we don't want to answer that question because there are so many variables. But, if pushed, we'll say you should get at least 350 miles from a solid training shoe, and you can reasonably expect another 100 or 200 miles. You'll probably get fewer from a lightweight trainer and far fewer from racing shoes. Some runners, particularly those who have efficient running form, get as much as 700 to 800 miles from their training shoes.

some say:

~~Start with just water and get all the loose gunk you can from them. Then take a mild soap (like Dove) and scrub them well with a soap and water solution. Then take whitening toothpaste like Colgate or Crest and an old toothbrush and give them a good scrubbing. Leave the paste on them for 15 minutes then wipe off with clear water. They will be so white and clean again!
I have never tried this for the inside but it sounds like it would work. Put mouthwash in a spray bottle and spray the inside, then let dry overnight. If that does not remove the odor, stuff crumpled newspaper in each one and let sit overnight, it will remove the odor (I have done this one)!
